Early Morning

• Departure from Nairobi: Depart Nairobi early in the morning, around 6:00 AM, to avoid traffic and make the most of your day. 
• Drive to the Equator: As you head towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, plan a stopover at one of the equator crossing points, such as the Equator Marker in Nanyuki. This provides an excellent opportunity for photography and experiencing the unique sensation of being at the geographical divide between the northern and southern hemispheres. 

Mid-Morning

• Photo Session at the Equator: Spend some time taking photos at the equator marker, capturing fun and creative shots with friends and family straddling the equator line. You can also explore the nearby shops and stalls selling souvenirs and crafts. 
• Continue Drive to Ol Pejeta: After your photo session and a brief stop at the equator, continue your journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. 

Late Morning/Early Afternoon

• Arrival at Ol Pejeta: Upon reaching Ol Pejeta Conservancy, proceed with the entry formalities and meet your safari guide. 
• Game Drive: Embark on a thrilling game drive within Ol Pejeta Conservancy, exploring the vast savannah landscapes and searching for wildlife encounters. Your guide will take you to prime viewing spots where you can observe a diverse array of animals, including the Big Five and various bird species. 

Lunchtime: Lunch at the Conservancy:

Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the lodges or camps within Ol Pejeta Conservancy, surrounded by scenic views and wildlife sightings. 

Afternoon

• Optional Activities: After lunch, consider participating in additional activities offered within the conservancy, such as visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary, rhino sanctuary, or embarking on a guided nature walk. 

Late Afternoon

• Departure from Ol Pejeta: As the afternoon draws to a close, begin your journey back to Nairobi, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the day. 

Evening

• Arrival in Nairobi: Arrive back in Nairobi by early evening, concluding your memorable day trip to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and the equator. 

Ensure you bring essentials such as sunscreen, hats, comfortable clothing, binoculars, and a camera to capture the unforgettable moments of your day trip.
