Day 1: Nairobi to Wilson Airport

You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi by our driver guide and transferred to Wilson Airport for a flight to Amboseli National Park (Air Kenya Airlines) departing Wilson airport at 07:30hrs, arriving at Amboseli airstrip at 08:05hrs. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our driver/guide who will transfer you to Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli for check-in and lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Amboseli, known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds.

Day 2: Full day in Amboseli National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive to spot the big cats, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse landscapes and wildlife with morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. During your game drives, keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and various antelope species.

Day 3: Flight from Amboseli to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, transfer to Amboseli airstrip for your flight to Samburu National Reserve via Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Upon arrival, enjoy an en-route game drive to Samburu Intrepids Camp, where you’ll check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Samburu, known for its unique wildlife species such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Camp. 

Day 4: Full day in Samburu National Reserve

Rise early for a morning game drive to explore the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Samburu National Reserve. Look out for the “Samburu Special Five” – Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and beisa oryx. After breakfast at the lodge, relax and enjoy the lodge facilities before heading out for an afternoon game drive along the scenic Ewaso Nyiro River, home to crocodiles and hippos.

Day 5: Flight from Samburu to Maasai Mara

Transfer to Samburu airstrip for a flight to Maasai Mara. Upon arrival, enjoy an en-route game drive to Elewana Sand River Camp, where you’ll check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in the iconic Maasai Mara, known for its abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. Keep your camera ready for sightings of the Big Five and the Great Migration.

Day 6: Full day in Maasai Mara

Experience the thrill of two game drives per day in Maasai Mara. Start your day with an early morning game drive to witness the sunrise over the savannah and spot the wildlife as they begin their day. Return to Elewana Sand River Camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive in the afternoon. Maasai Mara offers excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, elephants, and more.

Day 7: Continued stay in Maasai Mara

Spend another full day exploring Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Explore different areas of the reserve to maximize your wildlife sightings and photography opportunities. In between game drives, relax at Elewana Sand River Camp and take in the breathtaking views of the African bush.

Day 8: Flight from Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out of Elewana Sand River Camp and transfer to Mara Airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to Carnivore Restaurant or a city restaurant for lunch before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or to a city hotel for an overnight stay.
